I'm Chaz, a product and garment designer in London. Former Head Designer at Mertra and founder of DesignByChaz, now working with brands on garments, collections and campaigns.

I'm Chaz, a product and garment designer based in London, originally from Melbourne. I've been designing garments since 2021 and spent the last two years at Mertra, where I joined as a designer in March 2024 and became Head Designer in August 2025, taking pieces from first sketch through to tech pack, sampling and production.

In November 2024 I launched DesignByChaz, my own product brand, where I design, develop and sell everything myself, from skate decks and basketballs to building sets and lamps. I graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc in Business Management in 2026 and now work independently with brands on product and garment design, collection design and creative direction.
